In May 2026, Gisselbaek Consulting began a 12-month fractional consulting assignment with Abacus Medicine Pharmaceuticals through Brice Group.

The engagement is structured around approximately two to three days per week and combines senior Medical Affairs and medical-strategy input with hands-on execution.

The collaboration brings together three complementary strengths: Abacus Medicine Pharmaceuticals’ European platform and focus on advancing patient access, Brice Group’s ability to connect life-science organisations with senior interim expertise, and Gisselbaek Consulting’s experience in Medical Affairs, medical strategy and practical execution.

It provides a current example of how experienced senior medical support can be integrated into an organisation through a substantial but flexible fractional model.

To me, this is a strong win-win-win collaboration – bringing the right senior medical expertise into the right setting, with a shared focus on quality, collaboration and meaningful patient impact.
